Tools to support writing

Writing a final thesis can be a tough nut to crack. Below, you can find a brief overview of a few tools that can help you with writing a thesis or academic article. Most of these tools can help you with writing in English, but for our international patrons, we also propose several tools and dictionaries to help you with Czech (last section).

These tools use open access texts to propose relevant suggestions. While such tools can assist you with writing mechanics, they cannot help you organize your thoughts. If you need assistance with organization or have other questions, schedule a consultation with us.

Grammarly

Grammarly reviews English texts written in various contexts. It points out contextual, spelling, and grammatical errors, and proposes corrections together with an explanation. The subscription version, Grammarly Premium, offers more detailed revision suggestions and checks texts for plagiarism.
